About us
Britannia Narrow Boats Ltd is a small family company with over 40 years of experience. We actually trade as Shire Cruisers.
We are based in Sowerby Bridge, a small town in the Calder Valley.
We operate a hire fleet of 20 narrow boats, for self-drive holidays exploring the canals and rivers of Yorkshire and the North West.
Our boatyard offers moorings, repairs, repainting, boat fitting, gas fitting, fuel and pumpout.
We sell a small number of boats each year. Our current list is on our main website, link on the menu above.
